You will need:
- a plain laurel wreath - florists call it ‘athlete’s crown’
- at least 20 white poppies
- an inscription - write your own, or use the text below
- order your wreath from a florist in advance (check diameter of wreath to make sure inscription fits)
- paste inscription to a stiff card cover with clear film (protect it from rain)
- fix card to the centre of the wreath (pins through the card)- - attach poppies round the wreath
FOR ALL THOSE
- who have died or are dying in wars
- who have died or are dying because resources that could have fed or housed them have been wasted on war and war preparations
- who will die until we learn to live in peace - WHEN SHALL WE EVER LEARN?
