“I have a dream that my little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the colour of their skin but by the content of their character.” Known for his leadership of the civil rights movement in the USA, Martin Luther King Jnr. was a champion of nonviolence. Repugnant to some, a hero to others, there is no disputing the size of the man. His qualities - depth and breadth of vision, single-mindedness of purpose, organising ability, the power to move through through speeches, his sheer energy - mark him out as exceptional.
