There are no events booked at the City Hall on that date and a clear pathway for visitors to the City Hall booking office will be ensured.
Speeches to mark the 75th anniversary of the World Peace Congress, held on 13th November 2025.
Pablo Picasso visited the congress and this will be remembered at the event. His Dove of Peace is famous and in the Sheffield Museum and Galleries collection.
The World Peace Congress was banned by the Labour Government of the day and the current inaction against all genocides and wars will be a topic of the demonstration.
We are also be inviting artists and musicians to join in the demonstration, and asking what major artists are speaking up for Peace and Against War.
