International Conscientious Objectors' Day

People around the globe will speak out in solidarity with conscientious objectors in prison today and in grateful memory of conscientious objectors of the past.

Although phsyical events to mark the day are now cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic, there are many ways to mark this important event.

Join us online at 12 midday for the National Ceremony organised by a coalition of organisations including the PPU. There will be a minute's silence, songs and speeches on past and present experiences of conscientious objection.

If you are organising something in your area, or would like advice on doing so, please feel free to contact the PPU at or 020 7424 9444.
