Drop in to Friends' House (opposite Euston Station) between 2pm and 5pm to meet a range of groups promoting nonviolence and to learn about current peace campaigns. Organised by the First World War Forum, whose members include the Peace Pledge Union. There will be live music, stalls, a children's programme led by the Woodcraft Folk, plus books and food available form the Quaker Centre. Open to all.
100 years to the day since the end of World War One, this is an opportunity to consider what we can do in our own century to challenge war and militarism and promote peace and nonviolence. Come along to ask questions, satisfy your curiosity about what peace campaigning actually involves, and meet new people.
