Ash Parish Council is holding its annual Remembrance Service on Remembrance Sunday 13th November. A white poppy wreath will be included in the parade and laid by Quakers on the memorial. Starting at the Ash Centre groups parade up the hill to the Ash War Memorial.
Individuals and families gather to watch the parade, hear the service and witness wreath laying.
If you would like to support the White Poppy campaign please come along. White poppies will be available. We will be gathering from 10.00am outside the Ash Centre.
Parking is on residential streets and there are some road closures for the parade.
Refreshments are served afterwards in the Ash Centre.
Local dignitaries attend as well as local churches, residents and families; this is an opportunity to be peacebuilding in the community.
