Remembrance Sunday and the White Poppy campaign

In the run-up to Remembrance Sunday, PPU members and allies will as usual be distributing white poppies to remember all victims of war and to show a commitment to peace and a rejection of militarism.

White poppies have been distributed in the run-up to Remembrance Day since 1933 - 90 years ago this year. The PPU took over responsibility for distributing them in 1981, and has overseen the white poppy campaign every year since then.

More details of this year's white poppy work will be available closer to the time. You can find out more about white poppies, what they represent, and the PPU's approach to Remembrance at https://www.ppu.org.uk/remembrance-white-poppies.
