International Conscientious Objectors' Day - National Online Ceremony

Join us online at 12 midday for the national ceremony organised by a coalition of organisations including the PPU. There will be a minute's silence, songs and speeches on past and present experiences of conscientious objection.

Actor Michael Mears will read a testimony from a Second World War conscientious objector.

Niat Chefena Hailemariam from Network of Eritrean Women will speak about military service in Eritrea, which is compulsory for both men and women.
