Bradford Peace Museum invites you to an informal discussion about pride, pinkwashing and peace activism. A PPU activist will be among the speakers. This is part of the museum's Peace Out project, which explores LGBTQ+ activism and peacemaking.
As part of our exhibition Peace OUT – exploring LGBTQ+ activism and peacemaking we invite you to No Pride in War: Reflections on Pride’ an informal discussion event reflecting on this year’s Pride.
The Peace Museum and a range of speakers (including Symon Hill from the PPU) will be discussing Pride’s role as a protest and the increasing corporatisation of the pride movement by companies like Tesco, Barclays, Starbucks - and even arms manufacturers such as BAE Systems.
Plus find out more about Common Wealth Theatre Co upcoming piece I HAVE MET THE ENEMY (and the enemy is us).
