A white poppy wreath is laid every year, along with a purple one, to join the red wreaths at the War Memorial in Aberystwyth.
Organised by Côr Gobaith (Choir of Hope, in Welsh), a local street choir that sing songs for 'peace, justice and sustainability'.
In addition to the ceremony at the War Memorial, we will be singing songs for peace and laying white poppy wreaths at The Peace Tree in Aberystwyth at 1 o'clock on Sunday November 14th. The Peace Tree is located on the green opposite the public library, Queen's Road.
