The meeting is organised by Drone Wars UK, the Socialist Party, Swindon Against Military Drones and others, and will have a number of speakers.

"While we applaud the influx of allegedly high skill jobs in Swindon, many people are not comfortable with the increase in military expansion, especially military drones, when resources to fund education and training, affordable local housing, appropriate health care and local infrastructure and other essential services are left starved of resources.
Increasing military spending does not make communities safer as those living near the US bases in the Arab nations surrounding Iran have discovered recently.
Our communities desperately need jobs but this should not be at the expense of communities and families just like our own in other countries or by starving local communities of much needed resources."
The meeting will be held in Swindon on Tuesday 21st of July at the Bakers Cafe, 16, Emlyn Square, Swindon, SN1 5BN. Refreshments will be available and there is parking nearby. The venue is accessible.
