This is an exciting opportunity to join the PPU staff, becoming part of a small non-hierarchical team of four staff - and a much larger team of PPU members around the UK. Staff work alongside an elected Council and our valued volunteers.

Operations Manager: Full-time (0.8 considered) - £32,340 per year

Our membership is increasing, but effective campaigning relies on efficient organisation. We are looking for an Operations Manager who can oversee, maintain and develop the Peace Pledge Union’s membership, financial systems and volunteering capability. They will have  overall responsibility for all aspects of office management to provide an effective infrastructure that enables the PPU to carry out its campaigning and education work. 

Remembrance Project Manager: Two days per week - £32,340 per year (pro rata)

Recent years have seen a rise in white poppy sales and increased media interest in our work around remembrance. Our new Remembrance Project Manager will be responsible for planning and implementing our remembrance campaigns. A vital part of this is organising the distribution of thousands of white poppies every year, thus promoting remembrance for all victims of war and providing an alternative to prevailing militaristic approaches to remembrance.
